PLACES TO EAT MIJAS PUEBLO

This village is full of wonderful restaurants, some with great views of the coast. The area is a tourist area and prices are more expensive but the views and quality of the food makes the extra cost worthwhile.

Alcazaba Restaurant

Signposted and a short walk from the plaza de constitución this restaurant has some of the best views from Mijas toward the coast. The food is of a good standard and the decoration has a Moorish theme to it. Try and get a window seat the views are stunning.

Valparaiso, Caraterra de Mijas

If you want to treat yourself then have a meal here. It is found half way up the road to Mijas on the left hand side. It is tucked back from the road but can be found next to an octagonal building clearly visible from the street. They often have entertainment which could be flamenco or opera singing. Aroma Cafe and Secret Garden

Located in an old house in Calle San Sebastian in the centre of Mijas pueblo this restaurant.  The restaurant opens out into a patio area and garden where an Aregntinian style BBQ is prepared.  They also serve tapas, fish and meat dishes as well as pasta and paella.  This restaurant has been repeated awarded the certificate of excellence from Tripadvisor for the last three years at least.  What to take a look at the restaurant and menu?  Here it is.
